Daile is a dancer and choreographer from Cuba who came to stay with us for a few weeks while working on a project at a local university. Noticing her passion for all art forms I suggested we do a photo session together focusing on my ongoing project exploring double exposures vintage film cameras. In this case I used my Rolleiflex TLR.
Daile and I spent an hour or so in my studio then a few weeks later I rewound the film and shot in our garden. It had just snowed overnight so I had a new challenge, try to ensure the background was not too bright, washing out all of Daile's image. In some images I am more successful than in others but I am pleased with them all.
