I shot these double exposures on a roll of expired FujiChrome (expired 2013, I think). I don't shoot colour film very often and completely forgot that the daylight/tungsten colour balance would be off shooting Zoia indoors and the garden outdoors. Oops!

I'm posting three versions of each image here, the first of each is straight from the scanner. I might have been able to work on the tone curve with the scanner software but that seemed too tedious so instead I played around with it in Lightroom creating the second version of each image. The third is a B&W version which is normally my preferred style but why would I want to bother with the extra overhead of using colour slide film if I'm just going to use B&W copies?

I don't see many obvious signs that this film was expired.

I am pretty excited by the results. The bizarre colour issues are actually kind of cool. The B&W version show a lot of detail that one does not notice so much in the colour versions. Zoia was a wonderful woman to work with on this project.
